![]() ![]() I think I should have no problem connecting the motors to a VESC. They look good know but one of them had a bit of corrosion and dirt in the magnets.Īs you can see the connectors for the sensors are standard and the pcb even has the order of the wires printed. The Advanced Electric Skateboard Remote seems to be a great option, what to you think? I want to have telemetry in the remote and some way to control/play with the M1 lights like flashing when breaking, on/off etc. Ofc I need a VESC so I’m thinking Flipsky Dual FSESC4.20 Plus that seems compatible with 12s1p (can anyone confirm that? I get mixed opinions and confusions btw the normal and plus version).I’m also open to other VESC suggestions. I was mad at first that I just lost 1.2k euro… but I started reading more and more here and figured out it not so hard to fix the board and probably make it even better than it was before. That worked for almost a year but last week I opened for maintenance… was lazy to make it water tight again and well… a puddle fried the ESC almost instantaneously… my bad I know. The lid isn’t the only problem but, in their defense, I only got the first gen… they made small updates after that so I can’t tell if that’s improved.įinding this forum was the only good outcome of that episode, so I thrown my warranty away, opened it and with your help I made it waterproof myself. Then I started googling because I was pretty sure the Inboard was waterproof, that’s when I found out this forum and this post:īlockquote Inboard cannot 100% guarantee weight shifting won’t briefly break the seal of the battery lid while the battery lid flexes. Luckily I got it from a local store and they sold me as waterproof so they gave me a new one. I use it almost everyday to commute to work but I almost regret buying it now that I’ve spend some time reading this forum and learned more about other brands and custom builds, also the huge price drop!Īfter one month the first board died with water damage and that’s when I realized it wasn’t at all waterproof. I spoke to a friend who is into RC and drones and he said it might be a “balance issue” and asked me to open the battery and check inside.Hello everyone, I bought the M1 almost 1 year ago, when I was a total noob about everything regarding electric skateboards. *The other battery is working fine, which rules out the charger, I guess? Stopped immediately to not damage the battery any further. The board took off but even tough the battery level was at 60%, I was getting the low battery vibration from the controller. *Took a short ride to see if the battery was working at all. *When I arrived at home and put it in the charger again, it would not charge anymore. ![]() I have two batteries and continued my ride with the other one Battery level was at 60% when disconnected. *Battery was empty and was charging fine until I had to disconnect it due to continuing my ride. *The battery was not in the board while charging. I’m trying to resolve this with customer support but since it will take some time to sort out, I thought I might ask here to see if anyone knows what is wrong and maybe even knows how to fix it? Any help is very appreciated! I’m not very tech savvy and google was not my friend regarding this issue. ![]()
